Our annual Family Tournament is back – a full day of baseball and softball for players of every age and level, from complete beginners to seasoned club veterans. Whether you've never picked up a bat or you've been playing for decades, there's a team for you.
Expect mixed teams put together on the day, a relaxed round-robin format (nobody's keeping score too seriously), and plenty of time between games to relax, cheer, and catch up with the rest of the club. It's one of the best chances all year to meet players from every Challengers team in one place.
What to bring: comfortable clothes you can move in, sneakers or cleats, a water bottle, and sunscreen. Gloves and bats will be available to borrow – no equipment needed to join in.
Schedule:
- 10:00 – Check-in and team assignments
- 10:30 – Round-robin games begin
- 13:00 – Lunch break (BBQ on-site)
- 14:00 – Games continue
- 17:00 – Finals and prize giving
Family and friends are welcome to come watch, and the BBQ and bar will be open all day. Kids' activities will run alongside the tournament for younger siblings not yet playing.
